Spotify’s ad business growth has doubled in the past year so we are doubling down on talent to support and drive increased global demand. Today we are announcing that Danielle Lee is joining Spotify as Vice President of Global Partner Solutions, and Liberty Carras Kelly is joining the team as Head of Americas Sales, while former Regional Vice President of Midwest Sales, Brian Berner, has been promoted to Head of U.S. Sales.
These appointments represent a continued commitment to Spotify’s free product by investing in the tools and talent that are driving our growth around the world.

Danielle Lee, Vice President of Global Partner Solutions. Danielle will lead the Business Marketing, Product Marketing and Branded Experience teams for Spotify. She brings more than 15 years of leading strategy and marketing at some of the world’s most respected brands, including AT&T, Showtime and AOL. Prior to joining Spotify, Danielle served as VP of Global Commercial Marketing at Vevo.
Liberty Carras Kelly, Head of Americas, Sales. Comprising more than half of Spotify’s global ads business, Liberty and her team will drive revenue for the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Previously, Liberty led large sales organizations across the Americas for Microsoft, CNNMoney, and Fox Audience Network.
Brian Berner, has been promoted to Head of U.S. Sales from his former position of Regional Vice President, Midwest. Prior to joining Spotify, Brian served as Regional Vice President of Sales for Centro. Before Centro, he was the first salesperson hired at MySpace, where he spearheaded nationwide sales efforts across the Midwest.
